We had a few reports from customers that used these kind of foods and lost all their opae ula soon after that. Most freshwater shrimp food brands are wonderful for the kind of species they are designated for -ornamental freshwater shrimp species. However, some commercially available foods may not work for opae ula (Halocaridina rubra), a brackish water shrimp species.

So cute

I received the bubble very securely wrapped with a heat pack. However I was pretty upset because when I poured in the little shrimp it looked as if only two were alive. I emailed shrimp bubble to let them know and they responded to give them a bit of time. They were right one day later another one livened up a bit. I now have 4 healthy little shrimp flitting about the bubble. I love watching them. I think I’m going to be ordering another one for my desk at work!!

Shrimp love it

The shrimp get excited when the food toothpick visits their bubble. They give it 5 stars.

This is my second purchase of live shrimp and this time is even better than the last, it's cold in my state currently and they came packed with a heating pack and alive and healthy.

Shrimp food

Alge shrimp food very nice

Algae, food, and water

The algae and brackish water arrived in perfect shape. However, the food came in a small little plastic container with the top not screwed in all the way. There was shrimp food powder all over the inside of the bag. I salvaged most of it and was able to carefully put it back into the container but it was messy and time consuming since it was such a fine, green powder.
