A ShrimpBubble is designed as a small, symbiotic ecosystem.
Inside, microorganisms and algae can gradually establish themselves and contribute to the ecosystem's natural food cycle. As the ecosystem develops, the available food for your shrimp can change.
This is why less intervention is often better.
If your ShrimpBubble is properly established, feeding may not be necessary for some time.
If you decide to offer food, use only a TINY amount and observe the shrimp.
If they immediately show interest and eat it, you may offer another tiny piece after some time.
If they don't show interest, don't panic—and don't add more.
Simply leave the small amount for other microorganisms to consume and wait.
When it comes to a ShrimpBubble, more food does not mean happier shrimp.
Overfeeding can introduce excess organic material into a very small ecosystem. This can affect water quality and disrupt the biological balance inside your ShrimpBubble.
